CEDR can arrange a mediation in just a few days if needs be, but ideally the parties should give themselves at least two weeks to prepare. There may also be limited availability of mediators for very short notice cases.
If parties want to have the mediation take place in person, this also will need time for the venue to be booked and potentially for the mediator/parties’ travel to be arranged.
Most parties will book a mediation for at least a month in advance of the mediation and for some large cases or, where parties want a very specific mediator, they may want to book further in advance to guarantee availability.
