How am I assessed for accreditation?

The last two days of the Mediator Skills Training course are assessment days. On each day you will role play as mediator in a mock mediation scenario.

During the assessment process, a faculty member will be present to evaluate your skills based on six CEDR competencies. In order to pass, your scores from both days need to meet specific requirements.

Post-course assignments

In addition, you’ll be asked to complete three post-course assignments. Of these, the Settlement Agreement and the Self-Assessment are compulsory and form part of your assessment. For more details see the MST Assessment Guidelines, found in CEDR's Virtual Campus.

Upon successful completion, you can use the title of CEDR accredited mediator.
